17th June Border Union Championship Dog Show

Well worth the early start, I was up at 3.30 am and left with just Billy for Kelso at 4.30 am. 220 miles later I arrived at the showground for Border Union Championship Dog Show. Judging English Setters was Mrs Fiona Mitchell (Sunsprake). Redhara Billy Whizz won a good size and quality post graduate dog class, which I was over the moon with.

Then he went on to win the dog CC, his first at just 2 years old. Well Done Billy, a long way to travel but great result.

4th June

A sad day today we had to say goodbye to “Pen” Redhara Penelope Pitstop at 11 years old.

5th May The Northern English Setter Society Double Open Dog Shows.

Yes double open shows, two open shows the Northern English Setter Society held on one day with one Judge for each show, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. I took “Billy” Redhara Billy Whizz who was in Post Graduate dog at both the shows and he won both classes. I was really pleased with him and the quality of the entry was that of a champion show. Jack came along for a day out too as it is such a lovely venue, the weather was great too.

The Judges were Mr N Bryant & Chris Schofield.
